It was violent, bloody, messy, and sports entertaining.
The first-ever Anarchy in the Arena Match lived up to its name as the Chris Jericho Appreciation Society went to war with Jon Moxley, Bryan Danielson, Eddie Kingston, Ortiz, and Santana at AEW Double or Nothing 2022. Highlights of the match included almost every member of the match bleeding buckets, Eddie Kingston and Matt Menard wrestling in the concession stand and covered in mustard, and at one point, Eddie Kingston poured gasoline all over Chris Jericho in an attempt to get revenge on Jericho for burning him.
Ultimately, Bryan Danielson would pass out as Chris Jericho had him in a half crab while Jake Hager choked him with the ring rope. Despite being the mouthpiece for Jon Moxley and Bryan Danielson, William Regal was nowhere to be found tonight.
Despite the intense nature of this match, it appears that this rivalry is likely just beginning.
