Bobby Lashley: I Don't Know CM Punk Really Well, Every Interaction We've Had Has Been Positive

Bobby Lashley talks CM Punk's return to WWE.

Bobby Lashley and CM Punk have been on the WWE roster at the same time. In fact, both have the dubious distinction of being in the Extreme Elimination Chamber Match that headlined ECW December to Dismember 2006. Still, both men never really crossed paths too much on screen.

Now, CM Punk and Bobby Lashley are both in WWE as veterans and while they are still on separate brands, Lashley says every interaction he's had with CM Punk has always been a positive one.

"I know CM Punk, I don't know him really well," said Lashley during a recent interview with Sportskeeda Wrestlebinge. "I always make my opinion on someone based on my interaction with them. Ever since I've known CM Punk, every time when I talk to him, I've always had a positive conversation, everything like that. Nothing negative. If he said something behind my back to someone else? I don't know about it. I don't go into those kinds of dramas. So, he's back."

CM Punk is back and had his first televised match as part of the 2024 WWE Royal Rumble. He ultimately came up short in the titular Battle Royal, becoming the runner-up words to Cody Rhodes who became the first man in 26 years to win back-to-back Royal Rumbles.

Cody Rhodes has already made his intentions for WrestleMania 40 very clear. He wants to face Roman Reigns and finish the story once and for all. Read his comments here.

Over on Friday Night SmackDown, Bobby Lashley is currently teamed with Montez Ford and Angelo Dawkins and they are embroiled in a rivalry with Karrion Kross and The Final Testament.
