Booker T speaks highly of Je'Von Evans.
On the October 8th episode of NXT, Randy Orton will make a special trip to NXT, and he will face Je'Von Evans. Evans has been a breakout star throughout his time in NXT so far, and he will be in the spotlight when he faces Orton.
Speaking on his Hall of Fame podcast, WWE Hall of Famer and NXT commentator Booker T was asked whether Je'Von Evans would have the opportunity to learn more in one night by facing Randy Orton than he had in his entire career so far.
“Yeah, by far. No doubt. This is one of those moments where you’re chosen, and I’ve been in that same situation and that same seat once upon a time. Ric Flair wanted to test me, Ricky Steamboat wanted to test me, ‘The Macho Man’ [Randy] Savage wanted to test me, Bret Hart wanted to test me because they see something in this kid. That’s Je’Von Evans. This kid is extraordinary talent. He truly is next level. Just give him time, more than anything. Give him that time to mature into the man that he is gonna become, and he is going to be truly, truly great one day. The stuff that he does in the ring, I’ve seen no one else go out and pull it off as flawlessly as this young kid can," Booker T said.
