A good friend of Rocky Johnson and one of the Killer Bees reveals why the late WWE Hall of Famer passed away recently.
Brain Blair, who was with Johnson during his last living days, spoke with the Tampa Bay Times and spoke on why the 75-year-old passed away on January 15 in his home. Blair said Johnson had been dealing with a blood clot and that he thought he was dealing with the flu at first.
“A blood clot traveled from his leg into his lung. He died of natural causes,” Blair said.
Blair would go on to add that Johnson did not wantwas reluctant to go see a doctor for the past couple of weeks and only came to a doctor the day before he passed away.
“Every Sunday we’d go together to church," Blair said. “But he hadn’t been able to make it the past two weeks.”
Johnson's passing touched many throughout the wrestling world with many current and past WWE stars going to social media to express their sorrow upon hearing the news. Dwayne "The Rock" Johnson, Rocky's son, put up a long and very touching Instagram post about his father and spoke highly of how proud he is to be his son.
