Brian Pillman Jr. will have his first AEW Dark match this week.
Among the several matches that were announced for the July 7 episode of Dark was Pillman Jr. going up against Shawn Spears. This will be Pillman's first match for AEW since he competed in the Casino Battle Royal at the 2019 edition of Double Or Nothing.
Since then, Pillman has wrestled for a number of different wrestling promotions, but has been a mainstay for MLW. Pillman isn't the first person to work AEW shows while under contract with MLW and he isn't the only MLW star to recently wrestle in other companies as "Filthy" Tom Lawlor is set to wrestle for NJPW's Lion's Break Collision shows.
The rest of the card for this week's Dark will feature the likes of the Lucha Bros, Big Swole, Scorpio Sky, Orange Cassidy and more. Below is the lineup for the July 7 episode of Dark.
- Joe Alonzo, Brady Pierce, Tony Donati & Faboo Andre vs. Lucha Bros (Rey Fenix & Pentagon Jr.), The Butcher & The Blade
- Brandon Cutler & Peter Avalon vs. Dark Order (Stu Grayson & Evil Uno)
- Big Swole vs. Rache Chanel
