Speaking with D. Vargas after defending their Absolute Title against Kike Caballero at Combat Cult's "Fear The Reaper" event, Savage spoke with D. Vargas regarding his appearance, where he said he wanted to

"AEW was an interesting experience. Getting tossed into a trios match with people I’m not even familiar with was interesting. Ares (Alexander) not having enough willpower to get out of all those moves was a little bit craze because if I could have gotten in there, I would have dropped all three of them on their heads in a snap of fingers or drop of a dime. I have already dropped Mortos on his head so it's easy for me. Maybe next time I’ll have a better team or they’ll put me in by myself and I could show why everyone is terrified of me".

Savage defended the Absolute Championship on March 2 at Combat Cult's "Fear The Reaper" against Kike Caballero. Savage has also competed for companies like GCW, New Texas Pro, and many more. As for LFI, RUSH & Dralistico last competed for AEW in the match against Savage and have not appeared in the company since after being laid out by Komander & Hologram, while Beast Mortos last competed for AEW on 2/19 in a defeat against Hologram.
