Britt Baker is a Pittsburgh legend and she hopes to unite with another Pittsburgh legend in AEW.
Steelers quarterback Ben Roethlisberger wrapped up his career on Sunday, losing in the playoffs to the Kansas City Chiefs. With his playing days behind him, Baker hopes he has a second career in AEW.
"Big Ben did a little thing with DX, remember that? I begged Tony [Khan]. I said, 'this is the only thing I'll ever ask from you ever again. Bring him in for something,'" Baker said to Brandon Walker on Rasslin.
Roethlisberger was a guest host on WWE Raw in October 2009.
"I want him to do something in AEW with me. I know (he did something in wrestling), but not the good side. We need to bring him to the good side," she said later in the interview.
Baker noted in the interview that she had never met Big Ben. She had planned to go to the Jaguars vs. Steelers game in November 2020, but the pandemic prevented it.
The AEW Women's Champion did attend the Steelers vs. Chiefs playoff game on Sunday.
