AEW Dynamite closed with a touching tribute to Jon Huber (Brodie Lee) and his family.
Following a speech by Cody Rhodes, Amanda Huber and eight-year-old Brodie Jr (-1) came to the ring to leave the boots of Brodie on the mat.
AEW President Tony Khan then presented Brodie Jr with the AEW TNT Championship, calling him the "TNT Champion for life" and praising Brodie as the greatest TNT Champion of all-time.

It was revealed by Tony Schiavone on a recent episode of What Happened When that AEW signed Brodie Jr to a legit contract and he will begin with the promotion once he is of age.
On the AEW Dynamite post-show, Schiavone said, "Little Brodie is always going to have that TNT belt. We'll come up with a new belt, that will be his." Later during the show, Schiavone clarified, "Tony Khan sent me a note. The particular belt that was given to little Brodie tonight has been retired, not the TNT Championship itself. The belt was."
It wasn't made clear if the belt will be re-designed.
