Brutus Creed recalls being told that the Creed Brothers would be on Raw.
Brutus and Julius Creed made their debut for the Raw brand on the October 30 episode of the show, debuting in a big match against Chad Gable & Otis of Alpha Academy. The duo were able to pick up a big win in that match, which kicked off their main roster careers in one of the best possible ways.
While speaking to Fightful for a new interview, Brutus Creed said that he and Julius didn't know they were going to be assigned to Raw until after that bout with Gable and Otis. Creed also recalled getting a call regarding the matter from Trent Wilfinger on the same day that he got married.
"We didn’t actually know after our first match against Alpha Academy. We had to go back to NXT and wrestle a match. What we found was, I actually got married the same day, and I get a call from Trent [Senior Vice President of Athlete ID & Development Trent Wilfinger], ‘We’re going to you need full time on Raw.’ I was very emotional. It was a very emotional day, for sure."
