205 Live announced their final first round matches for next week with one more surprise.
Buddy Murphy, who back in 2015 on NXT was NXT tag team champions with Wesley Blake and associated with Alexa Bliss, will be on next week's 205 Live against Ariya Daivari.
In addition, Jack Gallagher will take on Mustafa Ali to round out the first round tournament matches.
In tonight's matches, Mark Andrews defeated Akira Tozawa to advance after catching Tozawa as he was going for a la magistral cradle and cradling him for the win. Drew Gulak, who has totally dropped his previous persona, destroyed Tony Nese in the final moments of their match and had him pass out from the dragon sleeper to advance to the next round.
Mark Andrews and Drew Gulak joined Cedric Alexander, TJP, Roderick Strong and Kalisto in the second round of the Cruiserweight title tournament. The winner of this match will be crowned the new Cruiserweight champion at WrestleMania 34.
