Ridge Holland confronted Bully Ray ahead of NXT Halloween Havoc.
WWE Hall of Famer Bully Ray appeared on the Countdown to NXT Halloween Havoc ahead of the premium live event. He noted that he usually went by Bully Ray, but he was bringing back Bubba Ray Dudley for the night, as he put on his classic pair of classes. Ridge Holland then crashed the nostalgic moment while Ray was discussing Holland's feud with Chase U.
Holland responded to Ray's comments and said that Ray didn't have a clue who he really was. Ray responded by noting that he could appreciate that Holland was trying to make more of a name for himself, but he did not agree with it. Holland fired back by saying that Ray used to do whatever it took to get by in his career, and he pushed the envelope. He said that he would do the same thing to put Chase U down for good.

Holland also confronted Bully Ray later in the show, and Ray warned him not to let it happen again. After the main event, where Trick Williams beat Ethan Page to retain the NXT Championship, Holland attacked Williams. He and Page started to gang up on Williams, but Bully Ray made the save.
