Carmella's time with WWE has come to an end.
Masked J of PW Nexus and Fightful's Sean Ross Sapp have confirmed that Carmella's contract with WWE recently expired, and she is no longer with the company.
Carmella has not wrestled since March 2023. She had only been back for about six weeks before that. She had been absent due to her pregnancy, and she later revealed that she was dealing with drop foot.

Carmella signed a developmental contact with WWE in 2013. She moved to the main roster in 2016, and she went on to win the SmackDown Women's Championship. Carmella also won the Women's Money in the Bank match, and she held the WWE Women's Tag Team Championship with Zelina Vega. Additionally, she is a four-time WWE 24/7 Champion. Carmella and R-Truth won the second season of the Mixed Match Challenge.
