Ridge Holland reflects on his road to the gold.
Andre Chase and Ridge Holland of Chase U won the NXT Tag Team Championship by defeating Axiom and Nathan Frazer. In doing so, Holland won his first title in WWE.
In an NXT digital exclusive, Chase U continued to celebrate after NXT went off the air, and Andre Chase and Ridge Holland were asked to comment on their victory. Holland thanked Chase U.
"I can’t put it into words. Nobody’d given us a second chance. The amount of B.S. that I’ve been through, that we’ve been through to get to this point. Guys, I can’t thank you enough," Holland said.
Andre Chase then said that a lot of people did not believe in them, and plenty of people doubted Holland as well. He said that he was proud of Holland.
"A lot of people didn’t believe in us. A lot of people didn’t believe that Ridge Holland was who I said he was, who I knew he was. Ridge, if ain’t nobody told you, I’m damn proud of you, and I’m happy to be NXT Tag Team Champions with a partner like you," Chase said.
