Chelsea Green discusses a possible WWE return for Matt Cardona.
Cardona has long been open to a WWE return, but has yet to get the call to return to the company. However, his wife Chelsea Green has made a name for herself in the company and will compete in this years women's Money In The Bank ladder match.
During the WWE Money In The Bank media junket on Friday, Chelsea Green spoke with Sportskeeda for an interview and was asked about Matt Cardona possibly returning to WWE and the possibility of the pair working together.
"Oh, okay. I don't know if I would work with him. Let's put a pin in that one. I'm not sure. But I would obviously love to see him back. I mean, ideally, I would love to see him and Steph back together to do the GCW shtick. But, you know, I'd take him as my mixed tag partner if I needed to."
Chelsea was then asked about possible opponents, with Green noting that they would take on anyone.
"Oh, I mean, really anyone. Because we don't really discriminate. We'll take on girls. We'll take on guys. It doesn't need to be a mixed tag team."
As mentioned previously, Green is set to compete in the Money In The Bank ladder match in her home country of Canada during tonight's Premium Live Event.
