RAW is Cody on April 4, 2022.
Cody Rhodes made his triumphant return to WWE for the first time in six years at WrestleMania 38 where he defeated Seth Rollins to earn his first singles victory at WrestleMania for the first time in over a decade.
While he was away, he, of course, helped launch All Elite Wrestling. There have been many times over the past six years where Cody Rhodes has had a live microphone in his hands but, as first reported by Fightful Select, on Monday, April 4, 2022, Cody Rhodes will have a live WWE mic in his hands for the first time in over a half-decade.
Cody Rhodes confirmed his Monday Night Raw status via a new Instagram post where he said he was looking forward to the opportunity to speak to the WWE Universe.
Thank you all - let’s live forever. Looking forward to having a live @wwe mic in my hand for the first time in over 6 years tomorrow. @usa_network
Speaking on The Ringer Wrestling podcast after his match with Rollins, Cody discussed his upcoming appearance on Raw, saying "I want to make my intentions clear. Just my intent. Multi-year contract, it's a great investment and I'm investing in them as well, but I want people to know what it is. If people begrudge me and they say anything like 'sold out,' I want them to know what that really means and why it doesn't bother me at all."
Cody Rhodes has already done a lot of talking since his return to WWE. You can see what he had to say about his last in-ring promo in AEW here. You can also learn why he will be staying silent on the ins and outs of his AEW departure here.
