Cody Rhodes returns to Monday Night Raw after six years to talk about dreams.
On Tuesday, February 15, 2022, Cody Rhodes left AEW after helping to found the promotion, and at WrestleMania 38, you returned to WWE after six years to defeat Seth Rollins. Two nights later, after many years away, Cody Rhodes made his intentions clear, he wants to be WWE Champion and he wants to do it for his father.
Cody Rhodes showed off a picture of his father, Dusty Rhodes, from 1977 when he defeated Billy Graham in Madison Square Garden but because it was not by pinfall or submission, Dusty Rhodes did not become a WWE Champion on that night.
Inevitably, another championship and another legacy would become associated with The American Dream but Cody Rhodes always wanted to win this championship for his father and now, he says he has returned to WWE to do just that.

Seth Rollins, Cody Rhodes’ opponent from WrestleMania, came out to the ring and did not say anything but instead shook Cody Rhodes’ hand but it was not clear whether or not it was a definite sign of respect or whether there is more to come from this potential rivalry.
