Cody Rhodes Says He Wasn't The Only One Unhappy In WWE

Cody Rhodes says he planned for months to leave the WWE, but not everything went the way he expected.

Four weeks into his exploration of independent wrestling, Cody Rhodes sat down for an interview with Sam Roberts of The Sam Roberts' Show. Rhodes said a lot about his transition from WWE to independent wrestling.

"Little known fact, a few other guys said they also were going to leave; they were frustrated; they were unhappy. So there was like this rallying cry. D-Day comes and just me, just me. And I didn't like ask or whatever" said Rhodes

Part of Rhodes' planning was "The List", A tweet that featured a hand written list of Rhodes' goals after leaving WWE. Rhodes revealed quite a bit about the list.

"I didn't intend to breeze through the list as quick. And I don't know if you know this" Rhodes began " I made the list but my handwriting is terrible. So, I made the list and we took the picture, and I thought 'this is...I looked uneducated' and I think some stuff was actually misspelled" said Rhodes.

Rhodes then admitted his wife re-wrote the list. The rest of the interview covers Stardust, a new "The List", and memories of his father Dusty Rhodes.

Rhodes has already been seen at some of the biggest independent wrestling promotions in the United States and he is set to make his Ring of Honor debut on December 2nd.
