The Creed Brothers share their thoughts on their successful WWE Raw debut.
Former NXT Tag Team Champions The Creed Brothers (Julius and Brutus Creed), alongside Ivy Nile, made their Raw debut on October 30. The duo faced Alpha Academy (Chad Gable and Otis) and scored the win over the former Raw Tag Team Champions.
In a WWE Raw Exclusive, The Creed Brothers and Ivy Nile commented on their debut. Julius stated that facing Alpha Academy meant a lot to them.
"Those are guys that we watched compete in the sport of amateur wrestling growing up, so to share the ring with them tonight was special. The Raw audience has only known us a very short amount of time, but we’ve known Raw our entire lives. We grew up watching this show, so at moments in today, I found myself kind of getting caught up with emotion, knowing I was gonna get to go out there on Monday Night Raw with my brother, something that we’ve wanted to do our whole lives. It was a cool moment for sure," he said.
Brutus was then asked to share his thoughts. Like Julius, he noted that he was emotional. Brutus stated that he was somewhat surprised by the way the fans supported them. He also stated that Alpha Academy were the best team they ever faced, and they scored the win.
"I’m choked up too, thinking about it. It was amazing. We went out there, and the crowd at the end cheered even more when we won. That was shocking and surprising to me. I didn’t know what to expect. We went against the best we’ve ever gone against, and we came out on top. Not only did we come out on top, but the crowd was behind it and that was surprising to me, Brutus said.
Ivy Nile also commented on German suplexing Akira Tozawa and stated that her way. She noted that she had to check Maxxine Dupri and knock her down a peg, which is why she squared off with the Alpha Academy member.
"Tozawa was just in my way. Me and Maxxine were having a little stare-off, a little moment because for some reason, I think she thinks she can go toe-to-toe with The Pitbull, so I gotta check her a little bit," Nile said.
Julius then noted that they enjoyed the night and will relish the moment, but they will be focused on their match against Angel Garza and Humberto Carrillo on the October 31 episode of WWE NXT.
