The Creed Brothers say they are walking through the fire, and they won't stop until they win the gold.
On the November 27 episode of WWE Raw, The Creed Brothers (Julius and Brutus Creed) won a Tag Team Turmoil match to earn a shot at the Undisputed WWE Tag Team Championship, which is currently held by Finn Balor and Damian Priest. The win came less than a month after Julius and Brutus debuted on WWE Raw.
Speaking on the November 29 episode of WWE's The Bump, The Creed Brothers discussed the beginning of their run on WWE Raw. Julius emphasized that they have been thrown into the deep end, and it has been a fun ride.
"Our mom didn’t take us to swimming lessons, she just kind of pushed us into the deep end, and we had to learn to swim. It was kind of the same thing on Monday Night Raw. It’s been an honor and a privilege and also a fun test to be out there in the ring with some of the very best in the world. So it’s been a very fun ride," Julius Creed said.
Julius also commented on earning a shot at the Undisputed WWE Tag Team Championship. He stated that they are hungry, and he noted that hungry dogs hunt the best. Julius made it clear that winning the titles is their lifelong dream, and they intend to make it happen.
“We didn’t walk through the fire just to smell the smoke. We’re not out of the fire yet, but we don’t plan on leaving until we really feel the heat. We’re super close to those titles, we’re hungrier than ever. They say a hungry dog hunts best and runs the fastest. But we’re starving. We’re not just hungry. So we’re gonna go and get those titles. It’s been a lifelong dream. It’s not been the last two months on Monday Night Raw. It’s been 29 years for me. It’s been 27 years for Brutus. So we’re gonna make it happen," he said.
As of this writing, there is no word on when The Creed Brothers will challenge for the Undisputed WWE Tag Team Championship. Fightful will provide more information as it becomes available.
