As previously reported, Demonio was suspended indefinitely for the incident, which occurred at the Lucha Libre Boom/Lucha Memes/Generación XXI show at the Arena Lopez Mateos in Tlalnepantla. Promoter Hector Guzman Herrera and organizer Juan Morales Mejia must also explain why an extreme match took place at the event since they are prohibited in the territorial state.

According to Rob Viper, wrestlers and promoters have started to organize a benefit show for Cuervo in order to help cover his medical expenses.

The event is scheduled for Nov. 22 at Arena Naucalpan.
