Dalton Castle will challenge Samoa Joe for the ROH Television Championship at ROH Death Before Dishonor.
Castle earned his title shot by defeating Shane Taylor in the finals of a number one contenders tournament. Castle picked up the victory with the Bangarang.

Castle defeated Tony Nese in the semifinals while Taylor bested Shawn Dean in the semifinals.
Castle is a former ROH TV Champion, holding the title in 2021 for 22 days. Joe has been the reigning ROH TV Champion since the April 13, 2022 episode of AEW Dynamite when he defeated Minoru Suzuki.
