Damon Kemp (Bobby Steveson) Says He Would Accept WWE Offer To Return, 'There Are No Hard Feelings'

Damon Kemp (Bobby Steveson) comments on his WWE departure.

On July 8, Damon Kemp took to social media to inform fans that he was no longer under contract with WWE. He was written off television on the July 9th episode of NXT when Charlie Dempsey and No Quarter Catch Crew (Myles Borne & Tavion Heights) stuffed him in a trunk and said mistakes wouldn't be tolerated.

Speaking on the Get Comfy podcast, Kemp commented on his time in WWE ending.

"It's one of those things you don't really expect to happen to you, especially how things were kind of going. It happens all the time. It's part of business. Just how things were shaping up. We were having a lot of fun. I was finally getting the ball rolling with the No Quarter Catch Crew, which was really exciting, too. I guess everything happens for a reason. When one door closes, another one opens," he said.

Asked if he would return to WWE if given the chance, he replied, "I'd accept. There are no hard feelings towards WWE. It was great. I loved it. It was a great job for me and an opportunity to open up and to show a different side of me. It was great. If they called me back, I would go. There are no hard feelings."

Kemp is currently a free agent and accepting bookings.
