Darby Allin Defeats Brody King At AEW WrestleDream

Brody King and Darby Allin faced off in a violent affair at AEW WrestleDream.

In the lead up to AEW WrestleDream, Darby Allin issued an open challenge for the event after losing his AEW World Title shot at the event to Jon Moxley at AEW Grand Slam. The House Of Black's Brody King would accept the challenge, with the pair having a face to face on this week's AEW Dynamite that featured Allin barking at King. During Zero Hour, Darby vowed not to go down, and stated that Bryan Danielson sure as hell isn't going down tonight.

Prior to the match, a vignette would play of Darby Allin skateboarding and making his way to the arena for WrestleDream. Allin naturally was the crowd favorite from his entrance, with the match violent from the initial bell, with the steel steps quickly coming into play as Brody squashed Allin under the steps. Darby as ever, would not let that stop him and fought back with his trademark tenacity. Following a pair of brutal Coffin Drops that targeted Brody's back.

Following the match, the two men would shake hands.
