Darby Allin On The Elite: I Think They're Selfish, They'll Do The Bare Minimum

Darby Allin doesn't like The Elite.

Darby Allin had been sidelined with a broken foot and a broken nose, but he returned ahead of AEW Double or Nothing. He joined Team AEW and faced The Elite in the Anarchy in the Arena match. The Ekite emerged victorious, and Allin was absent again until he returned on the July 10th episode of AEW Dynamite.

Speaking on Friday Night Fights, Darby Allin was asked about using a flamethrower during his feud with The Elite and whether it was that personal with Jack Perry.

“I just don’t like any of those guys [laughs]. Could have been any one of them. I just don’t think the EVPs, the Young Bucks and all those guys have the company’s best interest. I think they just are kind of selfish, and they’ll do the bare minimum. As long as their friends and everybody’s hired, they’re happy. Otherwise, they’ll do the bare minimum. They don’t really promote the shows, they don’t do interviews. They just go home and chill out until it’s time [for] Wednesday. But I like to try to be a company guy and keep putting AEW on the map and rocking and rolling," Allin said.

During the interview, Allin stated that he was medically cleared. Click here to see what he had to say.

Allin previously discussed his loyalty to AEW and said that he was there long-term. Check out his comments here.
