Deonna Purrazzo keeps teasing her plans.
On the September 20th episode of AEW Rampage, Deonna Purrazzo said that she had cultivated a network of friends, associates, and family. She told everyone to wait until they saw "this thing of ours". Purrazzo had already aligned with Taya Valkyrie, but she teased that she had more allies in the pipeline. Valkyrie then lost to Willow Nightingale on the September 27th episode of AEW Rampage.
In a digital exclusive, Taya Valkyrie expressed her frustration, and Deonna Purrazzo spoke with her after her loss.
Taya Valkyrie: Taya, what the hell was that? I should know better than that.
Deonna Purrazzo: What the hell was that?
TV: Listen, D, I know you’re going to be upset. I let my emotions get the better of me. I just freak out, and I just get really mad, and it didn’t work out.
DP: You’re right. It didn’t work out. But I’m not mad. Maybe we can use this as a lesson, that next time, you won’t put yourself first. You put the family first.
