Dijak pitches a battle for the custody of Dominik, but in a different way.
In a tweet, Dijak responded to a fan who noted that they want to see Dijak dethrone "Dirty" Dominik Mysterio as NXT North American Champion.
Dijak responded by stating that they could make it the second-ever Custody of Dominik Ladder Match, but this time, it would be a battle for the name.

Rey Mysterio previously defeated Eddie Guerrero in a Ladder Match for custody of Dominik at WWE SummerSlam 2005.
Dijak, previously known as T-Bar, competed as Dominik Dijakovic earlier in his career. He has not used the name since he left NXT in July 2020.

On the August 15 episode of WWE NXT, Dijak will face Wes Lee in an NXT Championship #1 Contender match. The winner will challenge Carmelo Hayes for the title on the August 22 episode of WWE NXT.
