The NXT Heritage Cup will be defended for the first time on American soil at NXT Battleground.
Noam Dar has been the NXT Heritage Cup Champion since the days of NXT UK. Dar recently brought the prize possession to the United States of America. He will have to defend it on American soil against Dragon Lee at WWE NXT Battleground, thanks to a little prodding from Nathan Frazer.
Noam Dar hosted the first-ever American edition of the Supernova sessions on the May 16 episode of WWE NXT with Dragon Lee as his guest. Dar was fully prepared just to make fun of his guest's accent, but Nathan Frazer came down to dish out some hard-hitting home truths.
Frazer stated that Dar has to defend that title just like any other WWE championship. Due to the entire NXT Universe, Dragon Lee, and Nathan Frazer's antagonizing, Dar has agreed to defend the cup at WWE NXT Battleground on May 28.
