To kick-start their run on WWE's main roster the former NXT Tag Team Champions The Authors Of Pain were split from their longtime manager, WWE Hall Of Famer Paul Ellering. A number of stories surfaced following the Ellering and A.O.P. split and one of those stories had to do with Ellering not wanting to travel the demanding main roster schedule which is why the split occurred. Ellering then went on to shut down those rumors by sending out a tweet noting that he had no issue with being on the road.
For six months Akam and Rezar have been by their lonesome in the RAW tag team division but that is no longer the case as it was announced during tonight's edition of RAW that the current 205 Live General Manager Drake Maverick is now also the manager of The Authors Of Pain.
Akam and Rezar beat down two enhancement talents and once the match was over the former two-time TNA X Division champion stood in the middle of the two behemoths that he will now be traveling on the road of destruction with.
