Dusty Rhodes Tag Team Classic Returning In 2020

The Dusty Rhodes Tag Team Classic is back in 2020.

It was announced on NXT that the tag team tournament will be back for the fifth time in 2020. The teams that will be a part of the tournament will be announced on the New Year’s Day edition of NXT on January 1, 2020.

The tournament, named in honor of the late Dusty Rhodes, began in 2015 with Finn Balor and Samoa Joe winning the inaugural tournament. The Authors of Pain won the tournament in 2016, followed by The Undisputed Era in 2018 and then finally, the duo of Aleister Black and Ricochet won the tournament last year.

Many notable teams have been a part of the tournament throughout the years, from DIY to The Revival to Kota Ibushi & T.J. Perkins and Moustache Mountain among others.
