The grudge match is on.
Eddie Kingston and Claudio Castagnoli will collide once again at AEW Grand Slam. Castagnoli will put the ROH World Title on the line while Kingston will put the NJPW Strong Openweight Title on the line.
The two men agreed to the match on the September 9 episode of AEW Collision during a sitdown interview with Tony Schiavone. In the interview, Kingston mentioned that his issues with Claudio stemmed from Claudio "not doing business" on the independent scene. Claudio said that Kingston still owes him a handshake and that he will get his handshake at Arthur Ashe.
Claudio previously defeated Kingston at ROH Supercard of Honor.
