Edge has once again taken to social media to try and shut down any rumors and speculation that he will be returning to the ring.
On Thursday, Edge was back in the headlines with news from Mike Johnson at PWInsider that internally in WWE, there has been talk of Edge being on his way back to the ring. Johnson noted that he had a "gut feeling" Edge would make a surprise appearance at the Royal Rumble, but could not confirm anything. Johnson also noted that he heard Edge had signed a new WWE deal with a "pretty nice upside."
Amid the talk that he has been cleared to wrestle, Edge sent out the following tweet.
Still not and still not. Period.

Talk of Edge's return picked up prior to SmackDown premiering on Fox on Oct. 4. On Oct. 8 it was reported Edge was in Pittsburgh on "WWE business." Pittsburgh is the headquarters of Dr. Joseph Maroon, the head of WWE Medical.
Edge was cleared to deliver a Spear to Elias at WWE SummerSlam. He retired in 2011 due to a neck injury and cervical vertebral fusion.
