Effy has been named as Matt Cardona's new opponent for GCW Highest in the Room 3 on December 14.
Cardona was originally scheduled to face Ricky Starks. On Tuesday, GCW announced that Starks had been pulled from the match, and subsequent GCW appearances.
According to Fightful Select, Effy's comments towards Tony Khan and Shad Khan were among the reasons AEW pulled Starks from his GCW appearances.
