Eric Bischoff Praises Mixed Tag Match At WWE Bash In Berlin, Says Liv Morgan Proved Herself

Eric Bischoff was a huge fan of the mixed tag action at WWE Bash In Berlin.

At Bash In Berlin, Dominik Mysterio and Liv Morgan teamed up to face the Terror Twins (Damian Priest & Rhea Ripley). Notably, this was WWE's first mixed tag match on the main roster in over a year.

Priest and Ripley came out victorious in the match, as Ripley pinned Morgan after planting her with a Riptide.

On a recent edition of 83 Weeks (via AdFreeShows), Eric Bischoff praised the mixed tag bout and gave props to Morgan for proving why she should be a champion.

“I went into this with really low expectations just because historically, anytime I’ve seen a mixed tag, it is what it is. They’re never really that interesting to me. This was so much fun. The action, it wasn’t like we’re heavy on drama and story and soap opera and really light on action, the fucking action was awesome. Liv was way better than I thought she was. Again, haven’t been watching a ton of her so perhaps my perception of her is not my fault but mine for not paying close enough attention. She did a lot of stuff in that ring that made me go, okay, now I understand why she’s in that spot. Dom, I can’t say enough about, he’s a freak. He’s so good. He knows his role, he is so so good. He sells like a million bucks. He’s believable. His face, he uses his face, he uses his eyes. He communicates to the people in the cheap seats. You can feel him when he’s in there. You can feel what he’s thinking, that’s an art, it’s called talent. It’s just amazing how good he is."

Bischoff went on to praise Damian Priest for also impressing him in the match.

“I want to say something about, uh, I mean Rhea Ripley — yes. But Damian Preist, the last time I saw him on a WWE pay-per-view, I don’t remember what the name of it was. I was really let down, that guys not really, I think he had a botch in the finish even. I was like, yeah okay, he’s got a good look and I’m sure he’s good at some stuff but he really didn’t impress me much. He absolutely made it for it tonight. He looked awesome. Just like I said with Liv, now I understand why he’s in the role that he’s in. He might have a bad night last time I saw him, he more than made up for it today. I enjoyed the hell out of that match.”

'Eazy E' finished off the topic by praising Ripley for being believable and impressive as hell.

“Rhea. Rhea is the jam. It’s gonna be Rhea and Jade Cargill as the future of that company in 18 to 24 months. She’s already star bound, she’s already there, but she is so impressive and so interesting. She’s got that goth dark look but she’s smiling at you. She’s evil, she’s high energy. But she’s got that kind of scary dark side too that she pulls off really well. But when it’s time to flip the switch and get really physical, I wouldn’t want to fight her. She’s just impressive as hell. Again, very believable but she’s got such a high degree of entertainment value because of that unique character and the way she carries it. I love watching her. She’s fun.”
