Ethan Page successfully defended his WWE NXT Title for the first time, but he still can't rid himself of Oro Mensah. Mensah successfully dropped Dante Chen with the Ego's Edge, preventing Dante from having his own 1-2-3 Kid moment at his expense.
This was Ethan's first time retaining the WWE NXT Championship since he captured the title at WWE NXT Heatwave.
Unfortunately for Page, he still had to deal with Oro Mensah, who attacked him after the match. At first, Page dropped his rival with a DDT and tried to walk away successfully, but Mensah threw him back in the ring and took him out with a Tumbleweed Heel Kick before covering the NXT Champion and counting his own pinfall.

Mensah has targeted Ethan Page since he came to NXT and took credit for attacking Mensah and injuring Noam Dar.
