Exclusive: Jordynne Grace Says She Spoke To ROH's Hunter Johnson And "There's Something There"

Being 22 as a prominent indie wrestler can be a positive, but as Jordynne Grace has found out, it can also slow things down.

"I have done extra work with WWE, but haven't had a tryout with them yet, and I think that is mostly because of my age," Grace said during an interview with Fightful.com.

ROH Tag Team Title Bout Confirmed For NJPW x AEW Wrestle Dynasty

Nicknamed "Thick Mama Pump," Grace's unique physique, skill set and wrestling style has garnered her the attention of some people in high places. When she spoke with Fightful.com to promote Ladies Night Out II on May 19, she admitted that she spoke with ROH recently, even though she hasn't been brought in to do any work with them yet.

"Ring of Honor could be doing a lot better with women's wrestling and putting them on TV, but the fact that they (created) the Women of Honor championship, that's definitely a good sign. Their whole thing was that they were focusing on the tournament and the girls who were going to be in the tournament, and that's why they weren't focused on bringing a lot of new girls in. I had a word with Hunter (Johnson) over WrestleMania weekend, and there is definitely something there," Grace told us.

Grace is no stranger to ROH, despite never working there. Her boyfriend, Jonathan Gresham has been a regular for ROH since late 2015. Even though she's had some discussions with the company, she isn't afraid to be too outspoken.

"I really like Ring of Honor, but I think there's a lot of politics in Ring of Honor. I don't want to sting on it too much, but I do love the company and what they're about," said Grace.
