Exclusive: Stokely Hathaway Says Matt Riddle Is Scared Of Him

Stokely Hathaway says he is prepared to go face-to-face with Matt Riddle.

Last year during Fightful Wrestling's BROCAST with Sean Ross Sapp and Matt Riddle, there was an interruption from wrestler and manager Stokely Hathaway. In a recent interview which aired on Fightful Wrestling's The List and Ya Boy podcast, Sean Ross Sapp asked Hathaway about his interaction with Riddle last year.

"I still remember the look of terror on Riddle's face when he saw me appear. I think I'll be eighty years old and I'll still remember that moment. To be able to scare a former UFC fighter, it gets no bigger than that," said Hathaway.

Game Changer Wrestling has scheduled a "Matt Riddle's Bloodsport" internet pay-per-view for the week leading up to Wrestlemania 34. Hathaway said he wanted to go to the event to confront Riddle but he has been banned.

"I called him out last night and then I later learned I was banned from competing because he was scared of me knocking him out again. I completely understand. If he waives that ban, I'll be down, let's do it," said Hathaway.

Game Changer Wrestling's Matt Riddle's Bloodsport has been scheduled for April 5th which is a few days before Wrestlemania 34 and should be hosted in the New Orleans area. Last year, Game Changer Wrestling hosted Joey Janela's Spring Break during Wrestlemania week.

Also during the interview, Hathaway was asked about his work in Major League Wrestling and EVOLVE. He discussed how he became Low-Ki's manager and his relationship with Moose. Hathaway also gave his opinion on MVP's body suit ring gear.

The List and Ya Boy airs Wednesday at 3 pm on FightfulPods.com.
