Man Like DeReiss Says The Atmosphere Was "Very Laid Back" Backstage At AEW All In

Man Like DeReiss looks back on his AEW All In cameo.

In August of last year, AEW descended upon London for their All In event at Wembley Stadium. With their arrival in Britain, the company would bring in several prominent faces from the British independent wrestling scene as extras for segments on the show including the likes of Michael Oku and Man Like DeReiss.

While speaking to Fightful's Corey Brennan in a recent interview, DeReiss went over his experience at AEW All In, noting the laid back atmosphere backstage.

"Oh, that was an amazing experience as well. The thing is, with AEW, I've realised I know half of the roster anyway. When I did some work with WWE, I knew less of those. But AEW, I've wrestled half of them. Aussie Open were obviously there. Eddie Kingston's there. So it was very laid back, other than one incident. I've got nothing but great words to say. We got looked after well. Captain Sean Dean made sure we were looked after. The food was amazing and to be a part of the like actual pay-per-view where it was actually aired on like itv and everything that was a cool experience and I really appreciate them sending the email and organizing the opportunity."

DeReiss has also previously worked for WWE in a stint with NXT UK. He most recently competed in the US with a string of appearances for GCW.

Elsewhere in the same interview with Fightful, DeReiss shared that he and Mad Kurt used to ghost write each other's tweets. You can read more here.
