What could a new Titus Worldwide look like?
In 2017, Titus O'Neil formed Titus Worldwide and hoped to lead Apollo Crews, Dana Brooke, and Akira Tozawa to new heights. While championships were few and far between, the group had a consistent presence on television and tried to introduce statistics into the world of wrestling.
Titus Worldwide ended in 2018, but that doesn't mean that the group is gone forever.
Speaking to Jeremy Lambert of Fightful, Titus was asked who he would select should Titus Worldwide ever be open for business again.
"Chad Gable has his own thing with Alpha Academy, but I would definitely bring Tozawa back. That dude is so entertaining, ridiculously entertaining. If I had to get a female superstar, I'd like to get Jade [Jade Cargill] as part of Titus Worldwide. Another male, probably Carmelo Hayes. I really really like him. I think he's going to be a big star in our business. Great personality. I'd probably throw Trick Williams in there too just because, even though he went to South Carolina, and Gators and South Carolina...I can prove on national TV that Gators and Gamecocks can work together in a non-competitive way and put out a good product," said Titus.
Titus has been off television since WrestleMania 39 when he did guest commentary.
Elsewhere during the interview, Titus commented on his return to WWE in July 2022. Fans can find his full comments by clicking here.
