Ezekiel On Skipping NXT: I'm Growing On The Main Roster Way More Than Anywhere Else

On April 4, the WWE Universe was introduced to Ezekiel, the younger brother of Elias.

Not much was known about Ezekiel, but his path to WWE stardom was quick as he went straight to the main roster, unlike his brother, who went through the NXT system from 2014 to 2017 before being called up.

Speaking to KTALnews, Ezekiel was asked about potentially going to NXT at some point.

"I'm very blessed. I was able to skip the whole NXT process, get right to the main roster. I think I'm growing leaps and bounds, way more than I would anywhere else. I'm getting to mix it up with the top talent in the world on Monday Night Raw, every week, and sometimes SmackDown. That's definitely where I want to be," he said.

Ezekiel has faced former NXT Champions Seth Rollins and Kevin Owens during his time on the main roster.

As far as WrestleMania dream matches go, Ezekiel said "I'd love to go one-on-one with my brother. I think that would be a dream match. Me and him, in front of the world, that would be incredible. On top of that, Shawn Michaels was always my favorite wrestler. That is a dream match for sure."

Ezekiel meeting Shawn Michaels when he was younger was highlighted in a WWE exclusive.

Ezekiel most recently competed against Rollins on Monday's WWE Raw. If you missed anything from the show, check out Fightful's full report on the show by clicking here.
