Multiple matches are set for the 3/7 edition of CMLL Viernes Espectacular.
Julio César Rivera hosted the 2/5 edition of CMLL Informa, where he made multiple announcements for the 3/7 edition of CMLL Viernes Espectacular, which will be focused on the Women's Division to celebrate International Women's Day.
The first announcement was that CMLL would host a match for the 2025 edition of the Irma Gonzalez Cup. Candela, Metalica, Amapola, La Jarochita, Reina Isis, Princesa Sugehit, Dark Silueta & La Catalina will participate in the match.
The second announcement was focused on Sanely and her CMLL Women's National Title. Rivera announced that Sanely will make her first title defense against India Sioux. She previously won the title on the 9/27 edition of CMLL Noche de Campeones, dethroning Reyna Isis.
The third announcement was the participants of the first eliminator for the vacant CMLL Women's World Tag Team Championships. It was announced that representing CMLL, Las Valientes (Hera & Olympia) and current CMLL National Women's Tag Team Champions Kira & Skadi will be participating in the eliminator. Johnnie Robbie & Viva Van will also be a part of this eliminator representing NJPW STRONG, while the team of Red Velvet & Lady Frost will be representing ROH. The winning team of this match will advance to the finals on the 3/21 edition of CMLL Homenaje a Dos Leyendas. The belts were previously held by Tessa Blanchard and Lluvia before Blancahrddeparted CMLL to join TNA.
The final announcement for the show was that Zeuxis will defend her CMLL Women's World Title against the 2024 CMLL Women's Universal Champion Persephone. This will be Zeuxis's second title defense in her title reign, last defending her belt successfully against Reina Isis on the 10/29 edition of CMLL Martes de Arena Mexico.
