Main Event for CMLL Homenaje A Dos Leyendas Announced

The Headline Match for CMLL's first big show of the year has been announced.

Julio César Rivera hosted the 2/5 edition of CMLL Informa, where he made a big announcement regarding CMLL's big show, "Homenaje a Dos Leyendas". The show is set to pay tribute to both Salvador Lutteroth Gonzalez and Salvador Lutteroth Camou, and the main event of the show was announced to do justice to the theme of the show.

After tensions boiled to an extreme on the 1/31 edition of CMLL Viernes Espectacular, Rivera hosted a contract signing to announce that Star Jr. will team with Zandokan Jr. in a tag match against Esfinge & El Valiente; however, it has a twist as the winning team will face each other in the main event of the show in a Mask vs. Mask Match.

The show will also feature the tournament finals for the vacant CMLL Women's World Tag Titles. The tag titles were vacated in December by Tessa Blanchard & Lluvia after Blanchard left CMLL to join TNA. The updated card is listed below.

  • Mask Eliminator Tag Match: Star Jr. & Zandokan Jr. vs. El Valiente & Esfinge.
