Finn Balor underwent surgery for his broken jaw.
The NXT Champion revealed that his surgery was a success on Twitter to repair the broken jaw that he suffered during his match against Kyle O'Reilly at NXT TakeOver 31. Balor previously revealed that his jaw is actually broken in two places.
There is no exact timetable for Balor's return and NXT has yet to comment on the status of his championship reign.

NXT has been hit with the injury bug recently as WWE announced that O'Reilly sustained contusions and a swollen liver from his match against Balor and is also not medically cleared. Ridge Holland recently suffered an ankle dislocation and fracture as well as a right knee patellar dislocation and ruptured patellar tendon.
Lastly, Dakota Kai is dealing with back and neck pain as a result of her tag team match against Rhea Ripley and Ember Moon on the October 7 episode of NXT.
