Josh Alexander: Competing In NJPW G1 Climax Will Be The Goal Forever

Josh Alexander is set to become a free agent on February 15th when his contract with TNA Wrestling expires.

Alexander has done just about everything there is to do in TNA, though he admits there is a chance he re-signs with the promotion. Alexander has also stated that there are options on the table for him.

Appearing on Pro Wrestling Wire, Alexander was asked if competing in the NJPW G1 Climax tournament is still a goal of his.

“Oh, absolutely. That’ll be the goal forever until it never happens and then it’ll be a regret forever. You know, just keep your fingers crossed and hopefully it can transpire one day. It’s not one of those things like — I jokingly say regret, but like if it doesn’t happen, it doesn’t happen. It just wasn’t meant to be. I’ve come to a point in my life where I understand that everything happens for a reason and I’ve been very lucky and grateful along this path. If that doesn’t happen, I can be very happy about the many other things that have occurred in my life and my career," he said.

Alexander is set to compete in what's being billed as his final TNA match on the February 13th episode of TNA iMPACT! against Eric Young.
