The first trailer of the wrestling biopic "Cassandro," based on the legendary Exotico Luchador's career, was released online on Amazon Prime's Social Media. Golden Globe Winner Gael Garcia Bernal will play the lead role of Cassandro, while notable rapper & former WWE Superstar Bad Bunny will have a supporting role. The film is also set to star Joaquin Cosio and is directed by Robert Ross Williams.
The film is set to be released on September 16 on a Limited Theater release while it will be available on September 22 via streaming on Amazon Prime. Fans can view the trailer below.
The real-life Cassandro last competed in a match on March 5, 2022, where he teamed alongside Mary Caporal against the teams of Yourba & Demasiado & Los Karma (Karma i & Karma II) for Mi Sagrada Lucha. Meanwhile, Bad Bunny last competed in a wrestling match on WWE Backlash, defeating Damian Priest in a Street Fight.
