Frankie Kazarian follows through with Option C and his decision has major ramifications for the upcoming Over Drive event on November 18.
Frankie Kazarian announced on October 13 that he would be exercising Option C, relinquishing the X-Division Championship for a chance to challenge Josh Alexander for the World Championship. Scott D'Amore gave him the chance to make that decision official on October 20 and made it clear that he would be challenging Josh Alexander at Over Drive, but if he chooses to give up the X-Division Championship, a tournament would be held featuring 8 X-Division competitors and the tournament will culminate on the same night, November 18 at Over Drive.
During his promo on October 20, Frankie Kazarian said that everything he does in his career is for his wife, Tracy Brooks, and their son but in truth, he looks at his life and he is not proud of himself. That's why he says he needs to win the World Title. He would then be attacked by Steve Maclin, before being saved by Josh Alexander.
.@FrankieKazarian is 100% sure he wants to exercise OPTION C and @SteveMaclin isn't going to sit back and let it happen!@Walking_Weapon #IMPACTonAXSTV pic.twitter.com/3MFT4ew012
