Freedom Pro Wrestling Files To Trademark ECW Event Names

Freedom Pro Wrestling is looking to secure some old ECW names.

On July 13, Freedom Pro Wrestling filed to trademark "Summer Sizzler" and "Three-Way Dance," which were event names used by ECW in 1993 and 1995 respectively.

On July 15, the promotion filed to trademark "November To Remember," which was an event run annually by ECW from 1993 to 2000.

The promotion also filed to trademark "3 Stages Of Hell," which is a match type used by WWE.

The description for all four trademarks is as followed:

“Entertainment in the nature of live performances by professional and amateur wrestlers and sports entertainers; Entertainment services in the nature of development, creation, production, distribution, and post-production of wrestling and sports entertainment events; Entertainment in the nature of wrestling contests; Entertainment services, namely, wrestling exhibits and performances by a professional wrestler and entertainer.”
