Bullet Club Gold scored the first fall with White hitting Blade Runner on Wheeler. FTR got the second fall after they hit shatter machine on Juice. For the final fall, Harwood locked Robinson in the sharpshooter, forcing him to tap out.

After the bout, FTR offered to shake the hands of Bullet Club Gold, but Robinson & White declined the offer and spit on the hands of Harwood & Wheeler.

This marks the second successful title defense for FTR after winning the titles from The Gunns (Austin Gunn & Colten Gunn) on the April 5 episode of AEW Dynamite. They previously defended the titles against Jay Lethal & Jeff Jarrett at AEW Double or Nothing.

Bullet Club Gold earned their title shot by defeating FTR in a tag title eliminator bout on the July 8 episode of AEW Collision.
