Fuego Del Sol is back.
Fuego Del Sol had been sidelined since February, as he suffered a foot injury at SPW Haters Gonna Hate event on February 19. He subsequently confirmed that he fractured his foot in five places, and the recovery time was set to take at least six weeks.
Del Sol made his return to the ring at VIP Wrestling Catch These Hands on June 23, where he faced Matt Sydal. In a tweet, Fuego commented on the match by stating that his four-month road to ecovery culminated in his return, and while he had a multitude of feelings, pure joy was what he felt the most.
4 Months… 4 long months of surgeries, doctor visits, rehab, and a ton of deep introspection, all culminating in my return to the ring last night!
