Fuego Del Sol wants to do it all in wrestling, as he'd like to work in a number of roles.
Throughout his time with AEW, Fuego has become a fan-favorite star. In 2021, he memorably got a contract during the August 13 episode of AEW Rampage. Since then, he has continued to compete on AEW Dark and Dark: Elevation, and he also occasionally wrestles on AEW TV. Outside of AEW, Fuego remains active on the independent scene.
Speaking with AJ Awesome on The AJ Awesome Show, Fuego was asked to name what job he would want to do if he wasn't in wrestling. He responded by emphasizing that he wants to have various roles in the wrestling business. He named being a manager, a trainer, and a commentator as some of the possibilities. Fuego also made it clear that he loves being involved in the sport.
“I believe, in wrestling, I’m gonna do it all. I’m going to manage people, I’m going to commentate. I’m going to be a trainer, I wanna train wrestlers eventually. I could see myself doing all facets of wrestling. If, god forbid, I ever get seriously injured and can’t wrestle anymore, I could transition to being a referee. I just love being around the sport and the energy of professional wrestling. So I definitely see myself doing any and everything. The more I get to be around it, the better," Fuego Del Sol said.
In the same interview, Fuego shared his thoughts on AEW's loaded roster. Check out his comments here.
