Gabe Kidd is coming for Shota Umino.
On the second night of the NJPW G1 Climax 34, NJPW STRONG Openweight Champion Gabe Kidd defeated Great-O-Khan. He already has his sights set on the future, as he is determined to end Shota Umino's hopes of winning the tournament
In his post-match comments following his win against Great-O-Khan, Gabe Kidd sent a message to Shota Umino.
"Vengeance. That’s what I call that shit. Vengeance for last night. But last night is gone, today is gone. What fucking happened? I turned up, I showed exactly what I’m all about, what War Ready is all about, what the Madman is all about. But I’m calm right now. I don’t need to shout today. Hiromu [Takahashi], you little bitch, come and take [my title]. Come and take it. Enough about that. Shota [Umino], zoom in on my face. I already said it, Shota. You cannot fake the hatred that I have for you. I hate you more than anyone on this fucking planet because I sacrificed my life. I left my home during a global pandemic, all comfortability out the fucking window. I left it to sacrifice, to come here. So you really think that you’re gonna be the one? Hasn’t it been destined since the seventeen of April ‘97, that you were gonna be the next ace? I think it was already in your dad’s mind that you were gonna be the next ace. But I’m sorry to fucking say I’m gonna ruin your entire family’s legacy. I am gonna end that end because after you step in the ring with me, you’re not gonna be able to complete the G1. You won’t make it to the Tokyo Dome. You won’t make it fucking anywhere because I am gonna end you, Shota. I am gonna end you with all the hatred in my heart, all the evil that I’ve got inside me. I’m coming for you, and I’m gonna end you in Hiroshima. I’m the one. Stop trying to fucking deny me. Stop trying to fucking deny me. I’m the one," Gabe Kidd said.
